The Secret Love Project
A lifeline for more than 600 people every day
The Secret Love Project is a registered charity in Cape Town. We offer people who have been marginalised and neglected by society a lifeline out of extreme poverty and a fresh path to re-integration into society. We provide anyone in need a way to make their own money, become self-sufficient, and enjoy acceptance by the community.
Using love as our currency, we invite anyone and everyone to join us in our mission to make the world a better place. Whether you need help or are able to help, The Secret Love Project is a community collaboration that enables people of all walks of life to contribute to building a better and more inclusive society. Adding compassion to the fabric of city life makes Cape Town a happier, healthier, safer and more beautiful place to be.

How It Works
How It Works
A community collaboration
1. Heart sticker packs are given to the homeless
The Secret Love Project charity produces and distributes heart-shaped sticker packs to the homeless for free. The cost of production and distribution is financed through donations from individuals and our corporate partners.
2. Homeless sell the sticker packs
The homeless sell the heart-shaped sticker packs to motorists in Cape Town for R20 a pack and the sellers keep 100% of the proceeds.
3. Lives are improved
The income generated from the sales of heart-shaped stickers goes directly into the hands of the homeless to buy food, toiletries and clothes.
4. The community is uplifted
Employment opportunities are created and this restores the pride and dignity of the people who have been neglected in the community.
